KMSS's ACTIVITIES

Joining The Fight Against AIDS KMSS is responsible to implement HIV/AIDS Prevention Program with different high risk groups since 2000 Eliminating TB, Together We Can Under UPHCSDP, KMSS is implementing TB Control Program in Dhaka and Khulna City funded by Global Fund & Managed by BRAC Stop Addiction, Road To Recovery KMSS has been operating a Drug Treatment and Rehab Center in Khulna. About 4500 drug dependants being treated from our center Bringing women's and children's nutrition to the forefront KMSS started implementation of IUNP since February 2013 funded by Concern Worldwide at Dhaka North City Corporation Strengthening health systems for mothers and children KMSS provide quality services for mother and childcare. Also they arrange awareness raising cultural program on various issues Addressing Violence against Girls and Women KMSS also strongly believe that for promoting the human rights, governance and livelihood well being of poor and marginal people Aiming to improve the socio-economic status of VGD KMSS is implementing Vulnerable Group Development (VGD) Program under guidance of MoWA at all Unions of Farirkat Upazilla Giving shelter and distributing relief at affected coastal areas KMSS participated in shape of giving shelter and distributing relief activities at SIDOR & AILA affected coastal areas Promoting hygiene in rural areas and to underserved populations KMSS aware mass population on drinking safe water, use of healthy sanitation, drink arsenic free water & other different issues

KMSS mission statement is be committed to serve oppressed, poor and vulnerable communities. Promote full human transformation and bring positive changes in their lives that ultimately contribute into holistic sustainable development. Response to the emergency needs of the target community especially promising youth, children and women that affecting them physically, mentally and environmentally. Enhance moral and spiritual values that assist the community to lead a peaceful holy life towards the kingdom of the Almighty.

KMSS vision statement is to Build a healthy society where all people are able to meet the basic human needs with full of joy and peace.

Organization Strengths

Since the beginning of its voyage KMSS has a great endeavor to work with the poor and marginalized population to make them financially solvent and to prevent HIV and AIDS. As a result of this we have stated Income Generation Activities and a Drug Treatment and Rehabilitation Center in Khulna City Corporation in December 1999 by our own fund. To be added that, KMSS Drug Treatment Center is the first licensed Center in the Southern. Later on in 2004 we started 30 beds free of cost Drug Treatment and Rehabilitation Center with the financial and technical assistance of USAID..
